
This copywriting tip is a cliche. But that doesn’t make it untrue. If you want to sell more in your copywriting, the only way to do it is to sell the sizzle, not the steak.
In other words, you have to sell the emotion that the reader will feel after they have bought your product or service and used it successfully. That’s the only reason people buy anyway.
Sell the sizzle by selling that post-purchase, post-implementation emotion—the good feeling at having conquered the problem.
