Cool things have been happening this week: It was my wife’s birthday. I rocked out some work for some pretty awesome clients. My wife had a conference to attend and I got to go with her.
I’ve been reading some great stuff this week and, interestingly, it kind of works altogether to create a “system” that business owners should adopt. Enjoy!
- How to start a fashion blog (or any blog) and make it fabulous. Read this article. Don’t ignore it because it seems to be talking about a fashion blog. That actually has very little to do with the value of the content. Trust me. Read it and wherever it talks about fashion, think of your own niche. Read it and follow every step.
- 11 Content Marketing Lessons Learned From 20 of the Top 100 Blogs. This is a great blog post about some content marketing best practices you should adopt if you want to grow your business. This is seriously good content.
- 15 copy editing tips that can transform your content into persuasive and shareable works of art. After you’ve read the two articles above (and started doing the steps in them!) then move on to this. Edit like a rock star with these tips. This is good stuff and I do this stuff everyday.
- How to beat Amazon ebook competition. Eventually you’ll want to monetize your content (which you’ve written awesomely using the above three steps). This post over at Problogger gives you some good tips about how to create great ebook content and market it effectively. Like the other tips, this is good, solid advice that you should follow to create and sell ebooks.
