What I’m working on this week (Apr. 22 – 26)

Last week was a mix of good and bad.

I pulled a muscle in my back during a workout and that makes life uncomfortable. I’m doing a bit better now (I can sit longer periods of time, which is helpful as a writer) but I’m not back to full functionality yet. And, of course that somewhat minor problem paled in comparison to the tragedies last week in Boston and in Texas.

And yet, there were good things happening, too, and I can’t neglect those: I’m pushing forward on my book so that’s nearing completion. I’ve been putting together a couple of deals on projects and that’s ALWAYS fun to do. And I went to the opera with my wife (we saw Aida) — always a great time!

Here are a few things that I’m hammering on this week:

  • Still working on my Sales Funnel Bible book. Since I moved a few chapters around, I’m now going through the editing stage to make sure there is continuity in my logic while also making sure that I’ve finished every chapter.
  • Editing a client’s ebook. We’ve been tossing this hot potato back and forth for a while and we are very, very close to being done. That’s exciting!
  • I’m also finishing up an article that I’m co-writing with a friend, Rosemary Smyth. We’re collaborating on a series of articles focused on helping financial advisors to succeed in their practice.
  • And, I’m writing a report about marketing for real estate investors.

Have a great week!
