What I’m working on this week (Aug 6 – 10)

Hope you’re having a great Monday! I am.

I’m once again in that funny stage of projects where most of my projects are at 80% to 90% completion. This is a dangerous stage for those projects to be in because I’m very much a starter and it’s easy for me to drop projects when they are 80% to 90% complete. (See my blog posts: Confessions of an ineffective executioner part 1, Confessions of an ineffective executioner part 2, Confessions of an ineffective executioner part 3). I have other projects on the horizon that are brand new and I’m really tempted to start them. Thankfully, most of my current projects are client projects so I’ll see them through to completion.

Have you been watching the Olympics? I haven’t been watching very much but when I do watch, I’m continually impressed by the level of focus that those athletes have. It makes me wonder what my level of focus is. I think I’m pretty focused but there’s always room for improvement and those Olympic athletes are examples of people who have focused to get where they want to be.

So here’s what I’m working on this week…

  • 10,000 word challenges for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I love regaining this amount of writing!
  • I should be able to wrap up a huge project for an income fund that I’ve been working on for months. It’s such a gigantic project, I’ll be glad to have it off my desk and a ton of extra time to get care of my other clients.
  • I have a bunch of other websites that need to be worked on a bit so I’ll be putting in some time on them.
  • And I have a real estate investing client who is wrapping up a book and a couple of ebooks so I’m in various stages of completion on those.
