Hey! This week I’ve got some of the regular stuff headed out the door — articles, press releases, and ebooks, mostly. I’m starting up a couple of new projects (for myself and for clients) and there are a few things I’ve been neglecting that I need to work on. Some highlights:

• I write for two real estate investing blogs and those are getting some serious overhauls this week, which impacts the type of content I write and some other fiddly stuff behind the scenes.
• I’ve got three books that have been in various stages of “working on” that I’d really like to take quite a bit farther this week.
• I’m working with a number email lists (some for me and some for JVs and some for clients). I need to do some administrative work in those lists — some are worn out like rented mules and others are ripe ground for growth but have been ignore. (#MixedMetaphorAlert).

Last week was SO BUSY with stuff from the Prospect and Developers of Canada (PDAC) Conference. My fingers felt like they were going to fall off by the end of the week. But it was a blast write all that content because it’s a gathering of some of the smartest people in the junior resource mining world and I got to eavesdrop on everything they said. :)

This week, I have lots of catching up to do. I confess, I’ve had a few projects that have been sputtering along for a while and I DESPERATELY want to get them off my desk. So I’m going to clean those up. Plus, I have a few JVs that need some attention so I have to break out the defibrillator and shock them back to life.

Plus, I want to pre-write a bunch of content for the rest of March. (I used to have a month or two of content prewritten for most of my clients but that mountain of content was slowly eroded and now I’m just barely keeping up. I want to build that mountain again.

• Catch up on some of the lagging content that needs to get wrapped up
• Catch up on a bunch of blog writing for the various JVs I’m working on
• Prewrite client content for the rest of March

I’ve been looking forward to this week for a couple of months! The reason is: I do a lot of writing about investing and especially about resource investments (i.e. mining companies, exploration companies, etc.). And this week is the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) conference in Toronto. It’s a HUGE conference where thousands of investors meet resource companies and hear from resource investing experts. Although I can’t go this year, I am still pretty connected to it and do a lot of writing about the conference, and I follow many of the presenters and companies pretty closely.

So want to see what my list of tasks is for this week?

• Write about PDAC for MetalsNews

haha. Yep. That’s mostly it. It’s HUGE project for a huge conference and although I do have a few other things to do this week, PDAC is going to take up the bulk of my working hours this week.

February is NEARLY done! March is basically here. So excited about that. I got a lot of work done this past month but the real focus of the month was cleaning up many partly-done projects and laying a foundation for several new projects still to come.

I’ve got so many really exciting things going on right now — on the client side and in other joint venture projects I’m involved in. Here are some highlights:

• Working on some articles for a stock picking client
• I’ve got some JVs in the works that I’m just about ready to reveal
• I’m wrapping up some ebooks for a real estate investor (confession: This project is a holdover from last week).
• I’ve also been doing a ton of work in my own sales funnel (you may have noticed some changes on the site) and I’m getting ready to unleash a bunch of new marketing, products, and service in March.
• I’ve just started working again with three different clients from several years ago who are ready for more work from me! They all contacted me out of the blue within the past couple of weeks. I love it!
